Kyp Henn Sales is a customer service oriented company.  We are accessible through our toll free phone and fax numbers and maintain a full office staff.  Our customers know that we are here to make their jobs easier.

We answer questions and solve problems customers may have whether it is missing pieces or missing orders, we solve the problems.  Regular and constant contact with our customers to inform them about new products and to remind them about reorders is our key to helping you sell your product.

Since the number of specialty toy stores has diminished in recent years we have specialized and expanded our business to include:  educational supply stores, office and art supply stores, hobby and museum stores and tourist accounts.  Our current active customer base is over 4,076 and we generate over $2 Million in sales.

We always look for unique products to keep our lines fresh and interesting, thus keeping our customers up to date on the current trends.  Moreover, we maintain an extensive advertising campaign that has been very successful in establishing and keeping new accounts.  Through this strategy we have created strong, lasting relationships with our customers and the manufacturers we represent.

Marketing Success

Our most successful efforts are drawn from our attendance at the many trade shows throughout the year.  We were one of the first Rep groups to purchase our own booths, and the response from our customers continues to be overwhelming.  The fact that our booth displays offer many different companies' products seems to be the strongest attractions at the shows, allowing buyers to do one stop shopping, something which saves time and energy.

Kyp Henn Sales has helped several start up companies develop packaging, strengthen sales techniques, determine discount procedures etc.  In addition to our sales staff we maintain full time order entry and mail personnel to process orders quickly and professionally.

Office Procedures

The list below describes how we generate our sales and the kind of quality service we provide at Kyp Henn Sales. 

  • We locate prospective customers through referrals, trade shows, and from extensive advertising.
  • Initial contact is made by our office and followed-up by the mailing of information and samples.
  • Another contact is made within ten days to answer any questions and provide full explanations about the products.
  • The customer places their order with our office.  We then enter the order into our system and fax it to the manufacturer.
  • The manufacturer ships the order and issues the invoice.
  • We are paid on shipment, once monthly.
  • Credit of customers:  We are usually confident about a customer's good credit because we have their credit references on file.  If we are not, we send the manufacturer the credit information for approval, or the order is sent C.O.D.
  • Direct orders:  Periodically there will be a customer who learned about a manufacturer from our effort yet will call the manufacturer directly either by: (a) genuine error (b) because all of our six lines are busy and our voice mail is activated or (c) hoping to receive a special discount.  In this case we ask the manufacturer to refer the customer back to us.  We will know if that customer is qualified and deserves any special attention or discount.  There should be a uniform policy set up by the manufacturer and Kyp Henn Sales and together we will be able to determine eligibility.
  • Manufacturer leads:  When an inquiry is made directly to the manufacturer for information,  we ask that the lead be referred to us for our immediate attention.
  • Guarantee:  Our office sincerely  represents the quality of the products we sell and expects the manufacturer to back us up when a customer is truly unsatisfied within reason.
